Busy Busy Busy here at KPP!

I've had so many fun sessions lately, I really am so thankful for being in a profession like this where I get to capture memories for so many great families!  I had a session the other days, 3 girls that I've photographed since they were born.  They walked in the studio and had a big hug for me, then they talked and played with me for a couple hours like this picture session was one of the best parts of their day.  Mixed in with having tons of fun together, we happened to get a ton of great images too, images that truly captured who these little girls were.  That's why I do this and that's why I wake up excited to do my job, it's so great to be a part of all my client's lives!  Thanks so much for letting us at KPP be a part of your lives!

 







 

I wanted to show off this image of our 7th grade boys basketball team here at St. Joe!  The boys just completed their season with a record of 26-1 and a 3rd place finish in the Class 3A Illinois 7th grade State Championship.  We're so proud of the boys, they are such an awesome group of kids and they finished with the best record in the state! 

We wanted to do something for our coach, so we thought he might like a picture of the team!  Of course, I didn't want just any old boring picture...I wanted to do something awesome!  I had a couple ideas so we took a few minutes before a game and lined them up out in the hallway!  After doing those, I just wasn't sure I was going to love that, so as a last resort, we ran into the locker room.  I knew we only had 5 minutes before the other team and our coach would show up, so we did it quickly.  This is actually 4 shots merged together because the locker room area was so small that I was actually standing about 3 feet from the closest boy.  My graphic designer did a fabulous job as always...and here's what we got.  The coach loved it, he said they looked much more tough in this picture than they actually were!  We all laughed at that, it's definitely true!!!  BTW, my son Jake is in the middle, I made him flex his muscles which he said was ridiculous...but he gave in and did it!

Just got home from a little vacation with the hubby and 12 other couples, it was just what I needed  to get my creative spirit flowing again!  (Good thing since Emily scheduled 9 sessions for me in 3 days).  I've had the best sessions since I've gotten back, 7 done and two more to go, and they have all been fabulous!  I can't wait to share more images!

Baby Boom here at KPP

The month of January has been awesome!!!  I love love love newborns and we've had tons of them this month!  They are each so precious and I feel so fortunate to get to be a part of their first few days.  Congratulations to all of these new parents and thanks so much for trusting us to capture these precious memories for you.
